CMT Designed specifically for routing signs, these CMT Lettering bits have gracefully curving 60° cutting edges, an 1/8" radius and 1/4" flat bottom base. This profile allows you to create striking lettering effects for sign making while eliminating undesirable chipping and splintering. The CMT 60° bit is the perfect bit for making relief lettering - the flat base lets you quickly level off the area around the relief letter. By putting bevel edges on the raised characters you will reduce the possibility of splitting the lettering which often occurs when producing square relief effects
